Hangout(08-30-11) Creed & Keo

"Well, I can see why, no offense. But you don't strike me as emo... you're kind of on the hyper side," she pointed out with a short laugh. He might have dressed the part, but there's no way he acted it. She also couldn't help but find it cute when he said he chased dragonflies when he was a kid, smiling at the idea. Listening to the rest, she replied, "I haven't listened to much of that. Any suggestions?" She hadn't listened to industrial really, but Creed might know someone good enough for her to be interested.
"And sushi? Anywhere around here that serves that? Sounds good," then again, she liked raw fish and red meat, thanks to her werewolf side. After all, when she transformed, her favorite meal suddenly became raw humans. Not that she would ever mention that, but a small part of her instincts were always there, even as a human. "So what about hobbies? What kinda stuff do you do in your downtime?" she asked, walking over to the fountain and hopping up to take a seat on the edge of it.

"Yeaah, its the looks n hair, but glad I don't come off like that. I find being like that too boring." Creed thought over a few bands and four of his favs quickly came to mind. "mmm, combichrist is a good one, the birthday massacre,mind in a box, and eisenfunk." He stretched one of his arms after a moment before looking around a bit getting where he was at from the place he got often ate out at. "luckily there is, its..." He pointed in the general direction of it with both hands. "Over der." Creed took a seat next to her. "Hobbies huh, not that many,course one is riding about on my bike,collecting coins, annnd parkour." He grinned. "What bout you?"

Keoki couldn't help but raise an eyebrow when he named 'The Birthday Massacre', but didn't say anything about it. Some bands just picked strange names, after all. But when he pointed out a place that served sushi, she smiled again, "Man, this place has more than you'd think for such a small town." She moved over a bit when he sat next to her, but listened as he named his hobbies. Parkour particularly caught her attention, "Really now? Parkour? Haha, I'm more into the freerunning side. Maybe we could practice some time."
He seemed fun anyway, it wouldn't hurt to hang out with him a bit more. As for her own hobbies, "Well, freerunning, like I said. Then I like filming, particularly ghost hunts, I like getting into fights, and on the normal side, I like playing pool." Considering she liked to drink, she also ended up picking up a common pub game. Thankfully the rare bars that catered to inhumans tended to ignore the fact she was underage in the States. They usually had worse problems to deal with than that.

Creed agreed with the place having more than what was thought."I know right." He put his hands on the edge of the fountain leaning back a small bit and listening to her hobbies. He rose both brows slightly hearing she was a freerunner another big thing in common along with the like of paranormal. The rest was known and he nodded at those, except for the pool part he didn't know bout that either. "Good stuff, epically the freerunning, wouldn't have thought you to be in to that, so practice sounds great, we'll figure a time for that later on~ n pool, I've only played it here and there n quite..horrible at it." Most times he tried the cue would fly out. (XD) He reached into the fountain and wet his hand before flicking the small bit of water off his fingers at Keo.He hopped off the rim and gave her a innocent look.

It was nice to see he was impressed by that, smiling as she replied, "Well it's good to know someone else who's into it. Also explains how you snuck up on me and Toby." Keo nodded when he said they could pick a time later, given they already had plans for now. She grinned a bit when he said he was horrible at pool, but she didn't know just how bad, "S'alright. Takes practice like anything else."
She would have offered to help him learn some tricks, but before she spoke up, she had to wipe off a few drops of water that Creed flicked at her. "You're weird, I hope you know that," she pointed out instead, splashing some of the water back at him from the fountain after he hopped off, but by the time it got to him it was only enough that it'd dry up in a few minutes anyway.

"Hahah, yep. Took advantage of it." The innocent look faded from his face as he jumped slightly when splashed he looked back n didn't anything on his clothes due to it being little and all the black, so he shrugged. "I know~ because normal is boring." Creed grinned and started to head back to the theater figuring it was a good time to get going now. "mmm want any snacks,popcorn..caanndy?" His eyes drifted back to her when he said the word candy,if she did want any he'd pay for it.

Keo hopped off after splashing him, nodding in agreement at the normal part. Though she didn't particularly have a choice, lycanthropy made her different whether she liked it or not, even shifting her personality a bit from how she was as a human. "Suppose you would be less interesting otherwise," she noted, catching up with him as he started back towards the theater. She brightened up at then mention of candy, definitely up for that, "Sounds great, popcorn and soda to start, then I'll have to see what sweets they got," she replied, "We can share the popcorn, if ya want."

Creed nodded. "Yep,hence, being weird~" He smiled as he noticed her pip up at the mention of candy. "Sound good, hmmm should we get separate sodas or you mind sharing a big one?" It didn't take long for them to get back, oddly going back to anywhere was faster than first going there. He held the door open for her and followed her in, then went ahead and lead the way over to the snack area to order the popcorn,soda,and candy, which he let her pick saying that he was fine with any she wanted to get. He insisted to pay for what they got, then even planned to cover lunch too. He didn't mind doing so at all, it seemed more proper like this.

"It works for you," she said with a friendly smile, thanking him when he held the door for her. "I guess I don't mind sharing," she answered, not typically sharing a drink, but it seemed harmless. Approaching the snacks, she immediately eyed over the selection of sweets, picking out two of her favorites, both with chocolate in them, and a bag of popcorn. She would have paid for the candy, but it seemed that Creed was going to insist on paying for it all. And in that case, she made sure he picked out the drink. Moving back, she grabbed his wrist pulled him over to pick what he wanted.

He noted that and made sure to just get one "Alrighty~"He stuffed the bags of candy in his jacket pockets after he paid along with his change blinked and hopped a bit not expecting to be pulled over to pick the soda,he grabbed the cup last second as he was pulled over.He stood there with her in front of the machine and tilt his head slightly to the side after he got ice.He made sure to push aside anything she disliked and got stuck between root beer and coke, so he just mixed them and hoped they would taste good together. (XD)

Keo noticed him just mix up the drink when he couldn't pick, finding it a bit funny but if it did taste bad she wouldn't be drinking it. "All set, then?" she asked, taking the popcorn and moving to hand over her ticket and head for the room. It turned out to be empty, at least at the moment they arrived, with some of the commercials still rolling. "Guess we still have a few minutes," she pointed out before they picked out a place to sit. She settled in, leaving the popcorn on her lap but by the side near Creed, and took another glance around to check that it was empty before she propped her feet up on the seat in front of her. She'd sit correctly if anyone else showed up, but for now she didn't quite care.

Creed nodded after putting the lid and plucking up two straws. "Yep~" He followed her and took a moment forgetting which of the four pockets of his jacket he put his ticket.Finding it he handed it in and went to catch up with Keoki,he looked around. "yep and dead room~" He settled in next to her and did the same as her propping his feet up. He pointed out some movies that looked good as the few previews went by. A few people walked in but didn't sit in the row of chairs they had their feet propped up, looking more to be the ones to sit closer to the screen. Creed never liked sitting too close, he liked to see the whole picture. The movie was a horror movie but Creed couldn't help himself at a few gory parts to make a small joke out of them.
A few times during the movie while grabbing popcorn, his hand accidentally brushed over hers when they went at the same time and he apologized. It set off a light bulb and he did so one more time but on purpose but it very much seemed like a accident again. He tried not to again otherwise it'd be too coincidental. Then possibly another meet as he reached out and grabbed the drink by the top and went to bring it over to take a sip.

Keo watched over the previews, mostly just to comment on them with Creed. She noticed some other people arrive, but Creed didn't shift his position and the others weren't sitting near them, but she still moved her feet back to the floor. It was a little more comfortable anyway. And like Creed, she preferred to sit closer to the back. Once the movie started up, she didn't seem that bothered by the gore, having been a little desensitized to it, whether she liked it or not, by some of the memories she had from her transformation.
That might have also been why she had a bit of trouble laughing at Creed's jokes about the gore, though she smiled and faked it, hopefully convincingly. She could still enjoy a horror movie, easily, but sometimes it was a little awkward for her to laugh over something closer to reality for her than her friend. She apologized when their hands brushed, though she didn't think much of it, and didn't say anything the second time though she still chalked it up as an accident. It might have just gotten annoying if it kept happening though, so she ended up just taking one of the candies she'd bought to snack on, offering some to him.

Creed didn't notice she was faking it so was quite convincing, he stopped making jokes after a bit so they could just enjoy the movie. He stopped sipping the drink when she asked him if he wanted some. "Sure, by the way, the mix of the drinks came out good." He said softly before offering the drink to her before getting a bit of the candy, which reminded him he still had the other small pack of candy. After he pulled it out he looked over the package the best he could in the dark, he didn't even know what was picked but liked it none the less. He opened it and took a few of those candies before putting it carefully on the armrest between them.

Keoki took a sip of the drink after he handed over one of the packs of candy. They ended up whispering a little more through the movie, but didn't bother the folks closer to the screen, or at least not enough for them to say anything. It continued like that until the end of the film, with the lights coming back on as the credits rolled and the others left. Keo finished the candy she'd gotten before, figuring she could just save the other for later since it hadn't been opened.
Not getting up to leave just yet, she turned back to Creed, jokingly asking, "Not too grossed out to skip lunch, are you?" It hadn't actually been that bad, at least not for her, but then she tended to be better with gore than most people, and she had seen some interesting (and funny) reactions in the past.

Creed finished up what bit of popcorn was left in the bag before taking the bag itself and flatting and folding it up. He chuckled at her question. "Ah, I...don't..think soo..." he said faking sounding a bit sick before shaking his head and getting up. "Kidding~ pretty used to seeing all that gore n stuffs." he picked up the drink,it still had a good amount left,he rose a brow slightly. Well hopefully that possibly saves from getting more drinks at the place if they don't mind him bringing it in.He waited for her to head out first, following behind her he threw the bag away on the way out. Once out of the theater. He walked alongside her. "So's the sushi place sound good for lunch? If no I know quite a few other places around here."

She glanced at him with a questioning look as he first said he didn't think so, but was glad to hear he was kidding, or she might have thought he was a bit wimpy. She also grinned when he said he was 'used to gore', figuring it was only the movie kind. "Good to hear," she replied, getting up waiting for him before and heading to the exit. She tossed out her empty candy box but noted that Creed still had the drink so some must have been left.
"No, sushi sounds good," she answered happily, since it sounded even nicer after seeing some gore. Maybe it didn't make her hungry, but she couldn't help having the instincts she did now. Of course, that was a bit of a morbid thought, so she moved on, "You know if there's anything particularly good that they serve?"

He smiled at her response at the sushi, Creed kept to a fair pace alongside her and put his hands behind his head in thought as he wen t over the few dishes he had and tried in his head before picking out one. "Well, I'd have to saay the sashimi and unagi mix, with a side of tempera shrimp or egg rolls.Any of that sound good to you? most the stuff there I like so, if there's anything else you want go for it." The place they were going to was behind (or in front of idk which ways front XD) of the supermarket.

A side of shrimp sounded nice, so she took note of that, "Those sounds good. I'll check what's on the menu, too." Keo stayed next to Creed, since she already remembered the general area they were heading too, though there was a bit of distance between them. They passed the fountain again, with Creed closer to it as they passed by, with Keo deciding to take advantage of the moment. "Hey," Keo called to get his attention just before giving him a shove as if she was going to push him into the fountain, though she didn't use enough force for him to actually fall. With a smirk on her face afterward, she stepped away so he couldn't get her back. And they were already by the sushi place by then, with Keo waiting for him before she headed over to it.

"Sounds good~" Creed made a very faint squeak noise as he was shoved towards it but knew he wouldn't fall into it. He flailed a bit in exaggeration. "Heeey" he laughed a bit and steadied himself before trying to pull her over but missed due to her moving away. He ran after her which made the trip to the sushi place faster,he let her go in first before nabbing her hat and hiding it behind his back and coming in like he didn't do anything, and he played that off very well having done such things with his sisters sunglasses. He walked over to the counter after giving her hat back, standing off to the side so if anyone was already ready before them wouldn't get confused on if they were in line. He looked to keo then to the menu.

Keo couldn't help but laugh at his flailing, but took off running when he went to chase her. As soon as she felt her hat pulled off, she stopped dead in her tracks and turned around to glare at him, only to fail since she was still more amused than angry. "That's not fair," she started, crossing her arms, though not in a serious manner, "If I took your mask it'd break." So of course, she wouldn't try that, and instead tried to get behind him to her hat, though he wouldn't let her. She ended up giving in, following Creed to the restaurant where he gave it back anyway, and she immediately set it back on her head.
Taking a glance around after they'd entered, she said, "Nice place, isn't it?" And then she turned to check out the menu. She ended up picking out a meal and let Creed know so they could be seated.

Creed couldn't hold back some laughing at what seemed to be a bit of pouting from Keo since she lost her hat. "Ah probably but at least your hats not breakable~" He said as he gave her hat back. Creed nodded in agreement when she said the restaurant was a nice place. It was painted in warm and earthy colors, a few plants nicely placed about the place along with some decoration of the native culture. He pointed out two big Japanese hand fans, they held a lot of detail and were his favorite decoration of the place. They were seated right away, not many people there today, or any day unless it was a holiday of the sort. Creed sat across from Keoki,the waiter put down their chopsticks and a pair of forks in case the chopsticks didn't work out to well. Creed picked the chopsticks up and separated em, he fiddled with them a bit. "Used these much?"

When Creed pointed over to the decorative fans, she commented on how nice they looked. Once they were seated, Keo picked up the chopsticks like Creed had and broke them apart. Grinning as she asked if she'd used them much, she replied, "Nope. And the few times I have didn't go so well. But it's still kinda fun. You?" She didn't often eat out at restaurants, preferring Anna's cooking, though she learned to make her own meals before moving out on her own.

"Yeaaah sometimes they're a pain. I'm.....alright with them,still have a issue with properly grabbing things." He clicked the sticks together a bit and picked at the wrapper the sticks game in picking it up a few times. He then poked at the drink he brought at the theater. "Hahah, forgot bout it.hopefully they dun mind." The waiter came back over to get their order on drinks,she spotted the outside drink but didn't say or seem bothered by it. Creed just asked for some water for himself then he looked to keo then back to the paper wrap. After getting her order on drink she left and came back with those, It was a good 10 minutes that passed before the food came, during the waiting time Creed played a bit more of question and answers with Keo.

"You're alright with them... but have trouble grabbing the food? Yeah, that must work out well," she replied with a quiet laugh, the spotted the waitress's approach. Ordering a sweet tea, she thanked her and turned back to Creed, shaking her head as she realized he'd brought the drink along. But he hadn't been told to throw it out, so she just played along with his questions, mostly sticking to trivial things, which was good considering she would have lied about anything too personal anyway.
When the food arrived she fumbled around with the chopsticks for a moment, but not being able to get any better of a grasp on them, but not feeling like switching to the fork, she quickly switched over to just spearing the food. Keo grinned back to Creed, shrugging as she brought the first piece to her mouth and mumbling, "It works," before taking a bite.
