Late to the Party (7-12-2011) [Open to All]

It was roughly mid day on a sunny Tuesday. Up until this time, the only noise that could be heard around the mansion was the sounds of the forest. Breaking this calm, at first a hum, was the roar of an engine. Down the road, turning the corner towards the mansion came speeding a car with Jack behind the wheel.

“How am I late!?” Jack was able to spit out between fits of cursing, “Stupid weather! Stupid traffic! Last time I got here in great time!”

Once he finally caught sight of his destination, he brought his vehicle down to a creep. Entering the grounds as quietly as possible, he pulled up in front of the mansion. He exited the car, removed his luggage from the trunk, and headed towards the door with a quiet stream of curses still flowing from his mouth the whole way through. Finally quelling his tirade, Jack quickly rapped on the door and waited for an answer.

the cab to penrose was excruciatingly long...too many stops too many accidents on the road and too many unnecessary conversations. it was enough to cause someone to burst into a fitting rage, but luckily azii had a calm and cool demeanor about herself.

as soon as the mansion came into view, azii let out a sigh of relief "finally..." but as quickly as she let out that sigh of relief, a man at the mansions entrance caught her eye.

"must be one of the residents..alright."
with her luggage in hand, azii walked towards him.

After standing there for a couple more seconds, Jack knocked again more deliberately and harder. Letting out a sigh, he consigned to the fact that after rushing up here, he was forced to wait. Upon hearing another vehicle pull up, he turned around to see a young woman step out of a cab.

"Hey there!" Jack called, letting go of one of his bags to give a short wave.

not giving him time to actually introduce himself azii interjected while extending her hand for a somewhat proper introduction "hey. i am under the impression that you are a resident as well? i dont think anyone would be eager to get in otherwise...seeing as how move in day was quite a few days prior. I am Azii by the way. Azii Astrai."

"Jack. Jack Imball," Jack replied, letting his hand fall into her's and giving her a handshake, "And yes, I am a resident. I can assume you had run into trouble getting here as well, right?"

"yes...it was unfortunate to have a cab driver who barely started the cab driving business....awkward conversations. as this one might be. but hey, the good news is that both of us arrived. it is enough time to get acquainted with the mansion and ready for the university." replied azii

she kept looking around, trying to find some kind of body walking around...conversations were not her strong suit unless it was a topic she felt strong about. this was not one of them. it didnt help that this man was quite a bit taller than her, even though everyone usually is.

"what are you studying?"

Creed was lounging around on one of the couches in the room across from the mansion door a magazine covering his face as he had fallen into a light sleep. He opened his eyes when he heard something like knocking, then he sat up when it got louder and recognized it was indeed knocking. The magazine dropped into his lap before he moved it and got up. “Hmmm? More people..?” He put on his black cloth nurse mask with the demonic fang grin and smirked a bit. “Nothing like a good surprise at the door.” He took his time as he crossed the hallway and over to the front door, he fiddled with one of his sleeves of his long sleeve shirt a moment before opening the door quickly and looking at the two. “Well….looky what we have here, two newcomers. Welcome to the Meinior….Need help carrying anythin?”

(( mrs Nellis will get there soon, she just didn't hear the knocks. Why doesn't anyone ring the doorbell anymore? ))

"Actually, it's more of a reaquainting for me. I actually here a couple years ago," Jack said, adding a little smile to help calm Azii down when he noticed that she looked a bit unease, "I'm studying Criminology. I did a little bit of it a while back and it seemed interesting enough."

While Azii she was looking away, Jack quickly and quietly jabbed his elbow into the doorbell. However, this didn't seem necessary as right when he did, the door flew open. If he was surprised by this, Jack refused to show it.

"Oh, hello there," he said, turning only his head to look at the one who openned the door. For some reason, this person looked familiar, but Jack couldn't quite place his finger on where.

(Doorbell you say? Problem solved! Also, how should Creed and Jack go about this? We were both on the old board at the same time, but I don't know if we ever put these two near each other.)

meep waiting to azii to go but then i gots a email sayin shes busy with her internship...sooo owo uhmmm yeah o-o))

((Yeah, I got the email too. We'll just wait until she gets back. Seems fair.))

(( i am terribly sorry for keeping you guys waiting...
but i bring more bad news...because my family is coming over for the next month and half, i will not be able to partake in meinior :'( because soon after they leave, i return to UCLA (my university). if you guys are interested in keeping my character, by all means, go for it. send me an email and i will send you the information for it. once again, i am terribly sorry for keeping you guys waiting.)

Awees azii >3< -huggle- just when we thought we had ya backeth @w@ but its all okay and understandable. buzy lady you be but you also needs sum family time ^^ but maybe after we kidnap your character you can visit on break or so. :3 ))
